The Humane Society has established a new and very specific fund for animals with health needs called the CHICKEN SOUP FUND for sick animals. Donations to this fund will be exclusively used to treat animals, like Ginger, in the shelter with curable diseases such as kennel cough, upper respiratory illnesses, heartworms, mange, dog bites, minor eye illnesses, and so forth. The shelter will now have the funds to bring the sick back to health and prepare them for their new home.

We will be looking for foster care for some of these sick animals. Please contact the shelter if you can help.
