Needs List for HSSM

Your charitable contributions!

With no federal funding,  HSSM operates on the donations of supporters and business partners to effectively achieve our goals. You may give to HSSM’s general fund allowing them to allocate the funds where they are needed at the time, or you may choose a program or event you find essential to sponsor.

Recycling

Our mission is to help animals, and this includes the animals in our environment! We have instituted recycling programs that keep recyclable waste out of landfills while raising money for the shelter animals. If you are able to donate the following, please bring them to the shelter.

• Aluminum Cans & Scraps
• Shredded Paper (strip-shred rather than confetti)
• Newspaper
• Plastic bags (from Wal-Mart, Grocery store, etc.)

HSSM spends an average of $1,600 a month on office and other supplies needed for daily operations. Please consider donating any of the following items so that we can put that money into care and medical treatment for our animals!

Thrift Store Donations

Have an item you’re looking to donate, but don’t see it on the list? If we can’t use it in the shelter, we can sell it in our Thrift Store! Furniture, clothing, toys, books, household items, etc. are all acceptable and 100% of the sales go to care for the more than 13,000 animals we care for every year!

Your Time
