Each year, thousands of lost and stray animals are brought to HSSM. Sadly, we are only able to contact a small percentage of owners. If you have a lost pet, come and visit HSSM within four days to look for it.

Microchipping greatly increases a lost or stolen pet’s chance of being reunited with their owner and is available at HSSM for a low one-time fee. Drop by our Surrender department during normal business hours to have your pet microchipped. It takes just moments and no appointment is necessary. It’s safe, easy, affordable, and the best way to protect your pet.

HSSM’s Surrender Department is open seven days a week from 10am to 5pm.
