Lost a pet?

Below is a listing of all the animals currently in our shelter who have come to us as strays or who were found by community members. If it has been more than 5 days since you lost your pet, your pet may not show up here. Please take a look first and if you do not see your pet, please come visit the shelter to see if your furry friend is here!

If you do see your pet here, please be aware that you will be asked to show proof of ownership when you come to the shelter to reclaim your pet & reclaim fees will apply. To reclaim your pet, please bring your driver’s license or other government-issued identification as well as one or more of the following types of accepted proof of ownership:

-Your pet’s registration papers

-Your pet’s vet records with a description of your pet, as well as your name and contact information

-Your pet’s vaccination records with a description of your pet, as well as your name and contact information

-Your pet’s microchip paperwork with your name and a description of your pet

-A picture of you with your pet

In the absence of proof of ownership, release of the animal is at the sole discretion of HSSM staff.
