To better meet public demand, the Humane Society of South Mississippi (HSSM) has extended its hours of operation. Beginning on Tuesday, September 8, the new hours will be:

Adoptions & Retail
Monday – Saturday Noon – 7:00 p.m.

Surrender/ Lost & Found
Monday – Saturday 7:30 a.m. – 8:30 a.m.
Noon – 7:00 p.m.

Spay/Neuter at the Louise Fenner Claiborne Clinic
Monday – Friday 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

The new hours were established to make HSSM more consumer-friendly. Bonnie Miller, HSSM Executive Director, said “By extending our hours we hope to get closer to our goal of getting the most animals out of here alive and placed in good homes.”
