My Dog Barks for a Cure

The Humane Society of South Mississippi is teaming up with Waiting 4 a Cure for the 1st Annual My Dog Barks for a Cure dog walk. The dogs and their owners will be walking towards a cure Saturday, May 9th at Hiller Park in Biloxi. Registration starts at the pavilion at 8:00a.m., and the dog walk will begin at 9:00a.m.
Grab your friends, 2-legged and 4, to form a team and help raise money for Waiting 4 a Cure and the HSSM and the homeless pets they serve. We do request that all four-legged friends remain on leashes, and we will leave it up to you to determine which two-legged friends should remain leashed!
Unleash your passion and build a powerful pack! The team that raises the most money will win the coveted Dog with the Biggest Bone award. Registration is $10 per dog/pet/person, or if you build a pack of 5, the 5th person is free! Register your team today by filling out this registration form and returning to Waiting 4 a Cure, P.O. Box 17013, Hattiesburg, MS 39404.
The day will be filled with lots of passion and purpose, people and pets barking and walking to raise money for two very worthy causes. All proceeds raised at the event will be split between HSSM and Waiting 4 a Cure and will remain in the local MS Gulf Coast Community. There will also be signature event pet items for sale!!
If you have any questions regarding the event, please call Julie A. Tate at 228-547-4244.
