Job Relationships: Supervised by Chairman of the Board of Directors; 

supervises Directors, Human Resource, Finance and

Administrative Managers

Position Summary: The HSSM Executive Director functions as the Chief Executive Officer of the organization and reports directly to the
Chairman of the Board.  The Executive Director is held responsible for the proper operation and success of the organization.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: The successful candidate will be an innovative and accomplished administrator with significant experience in the
private, nonprofit sector in a senior management role. Experience in change management, team building and organizational development; a
proven
track record of strategic planning and implementation in a rapid growth business environment.

Qualifications: 

A minimum of 10 years in a progressive management 

career track demonstrating increasing levels of 

responsibility.   An innovative and accomplished 

organizational/institutional advancement professional 

with significant, general experience in fund raising and 

successful experience in development, with a proven 

track record in direct, individual major gift solicitation 

and capital campaigns; knowledge of all giving methods

including stock, planned and deferred gifts.  A minimum 

of 10 years of extensive and successful experience in

product development and marketing, with a proven track

record in managing the delivery of programs and services.  An innovative and accomplished administrator with significant experience in the private, nonprofit sector in a senior management role.  A minimum of 10 years in a progressive management career track demonstrating increasing levels of responsibility; experience in change management, team building and organizational development; a proven track record of strategic planning and implementation in a rapid growth business environment.  Willingness and ability to travel nationally.
