Movie Night at Hard Rock Live-June 19

Hard Rock Casino, The Sun Herald, and Coast Young Professionals invite you to an exciting interactive movie experience on Saturday, June 19 at Hard Rock Live!

Cocktail hour begins at 6 pm where you can enjoy food and drink specials plus meet some of HSSM’s adorable adoptables.  The movie will begin at 7 pm but make sure to arrive early to receive your interactive package.

So, if you love the interactive experience of viewing the Rocky Horror Picture Show then make plans to attend this exciting event!  Although we can’t tell you the name of the movie (due to advertising reasons) we can tell you to be prepared for an adventure featuring a bachelor party, Las Vegas, a tiger, a chicken, and a couple of weddings!

Come dressed as your favorite character! Admission to the movie is FREE but we are accepting donations for your interactive movie package that includes your script, rice, and so much more.  Raffle opportunities will also be available where you can split the pot with the Humane Society of South Mississippi and have an opportunity to win additional prizes.

All donations will benefit the shelter animals at the Humane Society of South Mississippi.

This will be a great night you do not want to miss so mark your calendars for this exciting movie night.

Running With the Dogs River Bay Poker Run-June 25-26

The River Bay Poker Run will host their 2nd Annual Running with the Dogs Boat Poker Run Event Friday, June 25 and Saturday, June 26, 2010 at The Dock Bar & Grill, Seaway Rd. Gulfport.  Proceeds from the event are donated to the Humane Society of South Mississippi.

“We started this event last year so that we could help the Humane Society of South Mississippi” said Gary Morykwas.  “Running with the Dogs is a great way to spend the day boating plus you can feel great about supporting the homeless animals along South Mississippi.”
