Bottle Baby Bash
HSSM is hosting a kitten & Puppy Shower, open to the public, where you will receive all the 411 on bottle feeding puppies & kittens and foster neonatal care, this Saturday, April 11th from 1pm-3pm at HSSM's Adoption Center.
We’re celebrating our tiniest (and most fragile) arrivals with a special shower to help give them the best start in life. Come see firsthand how these little ones are cared for with special demonstrations from our own foster heroes.
What to expect:
• Games & drawings with a chance to win a gift basket filled with lots of goodies!
• Extra entry tickets with every donation!
Donations Needed:
• Powder & pre-made kitten formula
• Bottle kits
• Tube socks & rice
• Blankets
• Kitty litter & shallow litter boxes
• Diaper rash cream
• Hypoallergenic baby wipes
• Pâté style canned food
Every item donated helps us care for vulnerable puppies and kittens who need round-the-clock love and support.

CATURDAY: Caftans & Cocktails
The Humane Society of South Mississippi (HSSM) takes in over 5,000 homeless pets each year—and 1,921 of them (so far!) have been cats and kittens. To show our feline friends some extra love, we host one cat-tastic fundraising event each year just for them... and it’s the cat’s meow!
This year’s Caturday Brunch will take place on Saturday, November 15th from 2pm-4pm at The Chimneys in Gulfport, and we’re looking for cat-loving sponsors to help us make it a paws-itive success!
By sponsoring this fur-bulous event, you’ll be supporting HSSM’s lifesaving programs and helping us provide food, shelter, medical care, and second chances to the Gulf Coast’s most vulnerable kitties. If interested in sponsoring a table, please contact: katie@hssm.org.
General Admission Tickets are $50 each. 18 and under are $25 each. Includes access to all the fun with delicious hors d’oeuvres & purr-fectly curated charcuterie with 1 drink ticket for a cat cocktail of your choice at The Chimneys.

Free Pet Vaccine Clinic
Join us at Jones Park for Cops, Pops, and Pups on Saturday, September 13th, from 4 PM to 6 PM! We will be giving away free DAPP or HCP vaccines if your dog or cat is in need.

Caturday Brunch
Calling ALL cat lovers!!! Caturday Brunch is back and coming up on Saturday, October 5th!! Mark your calendars for one of the best days of the year happening at The Chimneys. This year we'll be celebrating all the "Baddies" of Disney so we're encouraging everyone to dress up in their favorite villain costume!
There will be delicious food, cat cocktails, some kitties on-site available for adoption, live music, yummy treats, and several spooky and fun stations to get you in the Halloween spirit! It's going to be a hair raising, fun day that you won't want to miss--all to benefit our feline friends in need.
Adult brunch tickets are $50 each which includes a delicious brunch and two cat cocktails or an apple cider mimosa! Children (12 and under) brunch tickets are $25 each and includes brunch and some Halloween treats! Table sponsorships are also available for $500.

Join us on Saturday, July 27th from 4pm-7pm at Jones Park as we partner with the Gulfport Police Department to host an adoption event AND FREE public pet vaccine clinic! Stop by to meet your new best friend, or get your current pet up to date on their annual DAPP or HCP vaccine.
There will also be food trucks, music, face painting, and fun!
