2025 Mascot: Jax Boddie

Jax arrived at the Humane Society of South Mississippi as a stray in August 2024. He was severely emaciated and very sick, but his story had just begun! Jax weighed only 17 pounds at the time of his adoption, and in just 2 months with his forever family, he weighed 44 pounds! He is a fantastic, sweet, smart, beautiful boy that tries so hard to be good...and he succeeds! Despite Jax's rough past, he has a great life ahead of him. Jax is one of the thousands of success stories thanks to the Humane Society of South Mississippi!
